The power of RAW foods is so amazing, and it's the hardest thing to explain to someone that has never experienced it's laundry list of benefits. Whenever, I go completely RAW I ask myself why do I go back to cooked foods. LOL!!! Maybe someday I will never look back to cooked, but I can't set a concrete date. With time, knowledge, and experience I am sure that I will get there, but for now I will continue to do it 4-5 days monthly, 100% in 2-3 month cycles, and making it at least 80% of my daily food consumption. RAW is a big part of my lifestyle which doesn't make it challenging to do, and when strictly RAW I am given powers that are unknown to those that have never tried it. I am a huge believer that food can heal, and I rather eat something nourishing to my body than pop toxic chemicals in a form of a pill to reduce the systems of my problem. Pills don't heal, but sometimes they do a great job at masking problems.

So Raw So Good....Day 3
Like any other day today was a great day except for the part were my son decided to play Superman off the swing at school and during his celebration of making it the swing whacked him in the head. Yeah, I was told to pick him up from school, but that's fine because we went to my favorite place Wheat Berry and was able to have some Mommy & X time. While there I ordered a Coconut elixir with cacao nibs, and a raw desert treat that was rich and delicious. I saved the other half to experience the wonderful of it tomorrow. Today the Weather Gods decided to give us a plenty of rain so after picking up my daughter from daycare we danced to the Angry Birds theme song and I did some abs learned in pilates class. Bella decided to join in so I had a 26lb human to use as weights and she really had fun working out with me. The kids went to sleep, and the Weather Gods decided to give us a brief break so I decided to go for a walk to add some extra steps to my pedometer for the day since I was low. My goal is to walk no less than 10000 steps per day. During my walk the rain decided to dance on my shoulders so I decided that I would stay close and circle the blocks while doing mini lunges. Wow!!!! Lunging while walking really worked my thighs, and I can feel it. Well, Today I did not consume much because I wasn't very hungry today.
Day 3
Breakfast:
Fruit Smoothie (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, mangos, fresh coconut, spirulina, hemp, and dates)
Lunch:
Avocado vegetable salad wrap from Publix, and banana
Snacks:
Bananas, mangos, apricots, and apples
Dinner:
Time went by so fast and I wasn't hungry so I drank 2 good sizes of green chai tea with raw honey

So RAW So Good....Days 1&2
A couple of weeks ago I decided to join my company Get Fit challenge, and that sparked a thought that this would be a wonderfully opportunity to go RAW. The challenge began on Monday May 14th 2012 and ends July 8th 2012.I figured what a great time to give the body a break and heal. I think that I have narrowed down my side abdominal pain, and it may be gluten because whenever I eat something with it the pain and discomfort comes back. Most people think RAW, and think that people only do it for the purpose of weight loss, but going RAW for me is a healing process. I love the many benefits of going RAW such as healing, mental clarity, radiant skin, vibrancy, and yes the side effect of weight loss. I weighted myself on Monday, and was 169.6 after enjoying two weeks of vegan mindless eating. I weighted myself again this morning and was 167.....OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS 2.6 lbs lost in one day. That previous night workout really kicked in, oh and I won't tell you how much I weighted last week, but thanks to continuing to exercise I lost most of the weight by Sunday. Today was my second day of being 100% Raw, and so RAW so Good. My energy is up, I feel great, and I had more energy and strength to get through my Pilates class with some extra to bottle for sale. Someone on my Facebook requested that I share my daily meals, and I thought that was a wonderful idea. Please understand that I am not a nutritionalist and I am not hear to provide healthcare advise, but I will tell you what worked for me. Now please understand during this journey I will fruit myself like no other because I love fruit, and believe that fruit is your friend not your enemy. Many people have been brainwashed to believe that fruit is bad for you because of the sugar, but they don't look at the full picture of what is being consumed on a daily basis. These people will tell you that eating too much fruit will make you fat and deter your weight loss, but you can't blame them because that is what we have been brainwashed to believe. If that were the case I would have not lost so much weight from eating so much fruit during my very first RAW journey, and I was able to maintain it by continuing on with a vegan lifestyle. If you recall I have tried every other diet (I really dislike that word), and nothing got me past a 10-15lb lost or stayed off longterm. I love the unprocessed journey, and I love sharing my experience with you all so here we go....
