Blood-Type O Diet: Vegan Style

Anyone that has been following me on Facebook or Twitter knows that I have been reading "BloodType Diet-Type O". I heard about this type of diet/lifestyle before, but I inquired about it for a different reason than doing a diet. If you know me, than you know that I absolutely despise the word and thought of a doing a diet. I am a firm believer that DIETS DO NOT WORK, but if your making a change in lifestyle you will have a long-term success vs. losing and gaining once the diet is over. The reason why I start doing research is because I wanted to learn more about how certain foods affect different blood-types or at least mine. LOL! I did this because as I start introducing certain healthy foods into my eating regimen I noticed that my body wasn't responding to them as I would have preferred and my weight-loss stalled. I have also had a lifetime issue with consuming certain foods that I like, but my body rejects. When I viewed the list of beneficial, neutral, and avoid foods for weight-loss I realized something that I found interesting. When I started my vegan journey I was consuming foods that were mainly on the beneficial list, some were listed on the neutral, and only a handful from the avoid list. I was amazed how instinctively I was eating foods that work best for my blood-type. As my weight-loss has stalled a bit I have decided to experiment again with my body, and go back to eating primarily from the beneficial, secondary neutral, and rarely from the avoid list. I love the vegan lifestyle and have no desire to go off that track, and I don't see any health or environmental benefits of doing so. Besides haven't you heard that Kale is the new beef, and I encourage people to consume more kale. LOL! So yes, my blood-type is O, and many people told me that I need to eat meat, but I disagree. I can respectably disagree because I have been down that road before, and I wasn't thriving like I thrive on vegan. A friend of mine posted that she is going to start a 3 day juice fast tomorrow, and I have decided that I will do a 3 day juice/smoothie fast as well as a jumpstart. I am so excited and I plan to track my food via "My Fitness Pal" username "NaturallyDolicious". After the 3 days of juice/smoothie cleanse I am going to stick with my plan for an additional 47 days-57 days. This is going to be an wonderful journey, and I am so excited.
